Our four state-of-the-art national fulfillment centers span over 4.4 million square feet, making us the largest book distribution operation in the U.S. We receive, store, pick, pack, and ship an average of 1.9 million books daily to customers around the globe.
The Crawfordsville Operations Center in Montgomery County, Indiana, is home to our Operations Services team. This department drives project management and data analysis to strengthen our supply chain. Recent major initiatives include adding two distribution centers to our network, implementing a goods-to-person system, and developing distribution network models for a $200M fulfillment operation. We are currently undertaking a large-scale automation and material handling implementation at Crawfordsville, with future projects extending to the Westminster facility and across the entire network.
