About the Role
We are seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Cary, NC. This overnight position (6 PM–6 AM) operates on a 2-2-3 12-hour schedule, offering every other weekend off. You will be the spark behind our operations, tinkering with electrical and mechanical components to keep production running smoothly.
In this role, you will alternate between troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and on-the-spot machine repair. You will need a firm grasp of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and the creativity to solve complex problems while maintaining clear documentation. Your day will involve analyzing production equipment failures to identify root causes using schematics and drawings, as well as investigating and repairing electrical and mechanical systems including pneumatics, drives, hydraulics, and conveyors. You will also prioritize innovation by seeking ways to improve plant efficiency and cost savings, maintaining an open dialogue with leads and supervisors regarding daily activities.
