We are seeking an Industrial Electrician for our Plywood manufacturing operation in Beaumont, MS. In this role, you will provide essential electrical maintenance support for our mill, ensuring all production-related equipment remains in good working order and functions safely. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting motor control circuits, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and drives. The position requires a proactive approach to monitoring equipment performance to minimize unplanned downtime and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
You will work in a fast-paced, constantly changing industrial environment that may be hot, cold, and noisy. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with co-workers and management to resolve electrical and maintenance issues. You will also be expected to operate rolling stock, such as forklifts, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
Candidates must be willing to work any shift, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. The selection process includes a mandatory electrician maintenance exam and a hands-on assessment. All employment offers are contingent upon passing a background check and a drug screen. Successful candidates will also need to provide documentation verifying their legal right to work in the U.S.
