As we expand our reach, we are looking for a politically-savvy, action-oriented leader to help take this work further, starting with Michigan.
This position is designed for a senior-level, well-connected In-House Lobbyist who will play a pivotal role in shaping public policy and securing the resources necessary for our network to thrive. You will serve as the primary advocate for our mission, aligning with Medicaid and Managed Care Organization (MCO) objectives to secure access to federal and state funding.
In this role, you will build public-private pathways that allow our healthcare partners to grow. A major focus will be moving lives and members to our healthcare entities by advocating for contracts, abatements, pilot programs, and policy structures that support innovation and access. You will navigate complex regulatory environments to ensure our network's priorities are advanced, acting as a visible representative in public forums, hearings, and stakeholder discussions related to healthcare reform and Medicaid transformation.

Direct experience with MCOs, state Medicaid programs, or large FQHC/PACE/FQHC look-alike entities. Successful track record in securing abatements, incentives, or public funding streams. Previous success in advocating for pilot programs, board approvals, or contracts that moved members/lives to partner organizations. Existing relationships with federal and state boards, Medicaid subcommittees, or appropriations committees.
