About the Role
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain safely in their own homes. You will be the steady presence that allows clients to maintain their independence and dignity.
Your day will involve assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, as well as supporting mobility with walkers or wheelchairs. You may also accompany clients to medical appointments or run essential errands. In live-in or sleep-over arrangements (where applicable), you will secure the client's home and provide reassurance throughout the night. Additionally, you will prepare meals according to dietary preferences and monitor vital signs like temperature and blood pressure when ordered.
Hiring Process
Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment. We look for individuals with a current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation or public transit.
