About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Import Export Agent for an immediate, long-term contract at a cargo facility in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will perform fast-paced warehouse cargo work under supervision, serving as a critical link in our logistics operations.

You will be responsible for processing import and export inquiries, preparing outbound flights and trucks, and handling complex documentation including delivery, transfers, and abandoned shipments. Your day-to-day will involve ensuring accurate data capture for Air Waybills and HAWBs, managing special cargo, and executing service recovery activities such as tracing and warehouse checks. Success in this position requires strict adherence to documented procedures, maintaining high quality standards, and observing security requirements set by both the client and local authorities. You will also act as the primary point of contact for customers, informing them of any irregularities.

This is an office setting role where you will collaborate closely with a team. The position demands flexibility to work various shifts, including 8 to 12.5-hour windows. While the role involves significant stationary time operating computers and office machinery, it also requires occasional movement within the office and warehouse to access invoices, machinery, and documents weighing up to 50 lbs.
