The Air Operations Agent II is the operational heartbeat of our international freight forwarding efforts out of the USA. In this role, you will coordinate the day-to-day air import and export of shipments, ensuring that customer requests are met with precision and care. You will serve as a key liaison between customers, local sales teams, international partners, and cartage agents, managing the entire lifecycle of a shipment from initial qualification to final delivery.
Your day will involve qualifying shipping requirements, obtaining necessary documentation, and preparing accurate, profitable quotations. You will navigate the Cargowise system to handle data entry, scheduling, airline bookings, and routing, while constantly tracking shipments to identify and resolve any deviations from the schedule. Whether communicating delays, resolving damages, or ensuring compliance with customer SOPs and company KPIs, your goal is to maintain the momentum of global trade.

High school diploma or equivalent, 2-4 years of freight forwarding experience, Dangerous Goods Certification, Advanced knowledge of CargoWise, Advanced math and geography skills, Intermediate knowledge of freight movement, air vendors, air space configurations, container loads, special loading constraints, regulatory requirements, pricing, service routings, AIT product offerings, equipment types, incoterms, and shipment profitability, Intermediate knowledge of country regulations and AIT policies & procedures, Basic to intermediate experience using MS Office.
Skills: Dangerous Goods Certification, Certified Cargowise Specialist Cco, Cargowise, MS Office, Incoterms.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
