The Gastroenterology Division at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is dedicated to advancing education and clinical excellence in the field of digestive health. This fellowship is designed to support the division's mission through a blend of outpatient care, specialized consulting, and research in both clinical and basic sciences.
This one-year Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Fellowship offers a dynamic environment for physicians to develop expertise in managing complex gastrointestinal conditions. Fellows will engage directly with energetic and enthusiastic colleagues, participating in outpatient clinics and specialty consultant rotations while contributing to ongoing clinical and basic science research projects.
The role requires adaptability, including the ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed. Fellows must be prepared to utilize new processes, tools, and equipment as they become available, ensuring they remain at the forefront of medical advancements.
