Key Responsibilities
- check_circleInstall, troubleshoot, service, and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment
- check_circleRepair or replace plant equipment to ensure continuous operations
- check_circleProvide design input for plant electrical and instrumentation projects
- check_circleMaintain health, safety, and environmental standards in all work activities
- check_circleInstall, service, test, and calibrate medium-voltage electrical systems
- check_circleDetermine causes for instrument malfunctions and take corrective action
- check_circleRead electrical blueprints and schematics to guide installation and repairs
- check_circleProvide technical support to Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams
- check_circleInstall conduit, pull wire, and make proper electrical connections
- check_circleAnalyze and maintain process controls, pneumatic, and electronic instruments
Requirements
- verifiedCompletion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent combination of work experience and technical training
- verifiedAssociates Degree from technical school desired
- verifiedBasic skills in electrical AC/DC voltage, PLC, pneumatic control valves and systems, basic electronics, motor control systems and process control systems
- verifiedExperience in 480 volt to 4160 volt electrical systems desired
- verifiedChemical or manufacturing plant technical knowledge and/or related work experience
Nice to Have
Academic degrees, certifications and licenses (i.e. associate degree, bachelor degree, etc.). Chemical or manufacturing plant technical knowledge and/or related work experience. Associates Degree from technical school. Experience in 480 volt to 4160 volt electrical systems.
