Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSupervise and train engineering staff in safe operation of Central Plant and Energy Management Systems
- check_circleFormulate and implement energy savings operations
- check_circleOversee preventative and major maintenance of Central Plant Machinery
- check_circleMaintain proper inventory levels of spare parts
- check_circleExecute company policies and duties as directed by the Facility Manager
- check_circleTrain HVAC mechanics on preventative, major, and emergency maintenance for campus-wide equipment
- check_circleDevelop sequence of operations to optimize central plant machinery utilization
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum of 5 years' experience in operation and supervision of multi-boiler and multi-chiller installations
- verifiedMinimum of 3 years of Supervisory experience preferred
- verifiedStationary Engineer license preferred
- verifiedValid driver's license required if operating Community vehicles
- verifiedAFE Certified Professional Supervisor (CPS) certification within one year of hire
- verifiedEPA 608 Universal certification within one year of hire
- verifiedNFPA 70E certification within one year of hire
- verifiedOSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification within 1 year of hire
Nice to Have
Minimum of 3 years of Supervisory experience. Stationary Engineer license.
