As an HVAC Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative, code-compliant solutions for commercial and institutional buildings. This position is designed for professionals passionate about cutting-edge smart building technologies and their impact on energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, electrical specialists, and controls experts, to develop integrated building solutions. Your day-to-day work involves performing precise load calculations, selecting appropriate equipment, and creating detailed layouts and specifications. You will utilize industry-standard tools to design air distribution, ventilation, chilled water, and hydronic systems, ensuring all projects meet rigorous safety and performance standards.
Beyond design, you will engage directly with customers to understand their unique requirements, present design options, and address technical questions. You will also support energy modeling and system optimization strategies, review shop drawings, and assist with commissioning and troubleshooting to ensure projects meet performance, schedule, and quality expectations in a fast-paced environment.
