Integrity Technical Services is partnering with a well-established architectural and engineering consulting firm in Akron, Ohio, to find a dedicated HVAC Engineer. This position focuses on the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning design for industrial and chemical plants. The role involves a blend of office-based design work and essential field activities, including obtaining site information, creating field sketches, and verifying drawings to ensure accuracy and safety.
Engineers in this role will design process area ventilation and pressurization systems specifically for hazardous locations to support the safe handling and processing of chemicals. The position requires performing heating and cooling load calculations, selecting and sizing HVAC equipment, and evaluating existing building ventilation to recommend system improvements. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities for plumbing system layout and sizing, as well as fire protection design specifications.
