About the Role

As a key member of our service team, you will perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration tools and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems. Acting as a trusted advisor to our customers, your mission is to solve building inefficiencies and provide high-level service that delivers immediate outcomes. You will be responsible for ensuring facilities run efficiently, offering recommendations and solutions that support customer success.

The Day-to-Day

Your work involves loading system-level controller software and performing basic commissioning and diagnostics from controllers to end devices like sensors and actuators. You will calibrate systems using electronic test equipment and manage all required commissioning documentation. A significant part of your role is communication; you will keep management and contractors informed of job progress, and you will communicate with customers upon arrival and departure. Additionally, you will handle administrative tasks such as time sheets and expense reports, document changes for as-built records, and provide quotes to support your technical recommendations.
