About the Role
As an HVAC - Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all HVAC and Refrigeration Systems and Installations onboard. In this Level 2.5 stripes Officer role, you will supervise the Refrigeration Assistant Engineers and the Air Conditioning Team, reporting directly to the First Engineer.
Your day-to-day involves ensuring Show Quality Standards (SQS) are met while seeking to continually improve Guest Service Management (GSM) ratings. You will interact with guests, crew, contractors, and shore personnel in a friendly and respectful manner to maintain the reputation and integrity of the Engineering Department. This role requires a genuine interest in a career at sea, with the willingness to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel in a multicultural environment.
Hiring Process & Requirements
To join our shipboard team, you must be willing to follow and perform safety roles and emergency responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan and Safety Management System. You may be required to share a confined cabin with other crew members and adhere to strict rules and regulations.
