Kogan & DiSalvo is one of Florida's top personal injury firms, known for strong advocacy, rapid growth, and a culture that values integrity, accountability, and teamwork. Over the last four years, the firm has grown from 25–30 employees to nearly 100 across multiple Florida offices, with plans for continued expansion.
The firm operates with clear expectations, a strong commitment to client service, and a deep respect for culture. We offer the rare mix of meaningful work, strong leadership, and the energy of a firm that's actively scaling.
We are seeking a Human Resources Director who can own and stabilize the HR function across our growing, multi-office law firm. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can bring order, consistency, and professionalism to a busy organization with approximately 100 team members, multiple practice areas, and active office locations across Florida.
You will be the steady hand that restores order and keeps people moving in the right direction. Your mission is to calm fires instead of fuel them, building trust through sound judgment, strong boundaries, professional maturity, and reliable follow-through. You will bring humility, steady confidence, and operational discipline to strengthen our culture and infrastructure.
This role is not just about managing tasks; it is about being a visible culture leader who protects the firm's values by bringing people together, not dividing them. You will serve as a trusted HR partner to leadership while maintaining appropriate boundaries with staff, ensuring a professional, respectful, and drama-free environment across all locations.
Your primary office is in Boca Raton, but you will travel to nearby Florida office locations approximately five times per month, typically with same-day travel, and to farther locations every 2–3 months involving an overnight stay. Office locations include Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Stuart, Plantation, Coral Gables, Fort Myers, and St. Petersburg.
In this role, you will stabilize HR after a period without consistent senior leadership. You will oversee recruiting operations, ensuring hiring activity stays organized and timely, while providing direction to the HR Assistant on role requirements and hiring priorities. You will manage benefits enrollment and renewals, coordinate with the firm's broker, and support payroll accuracy where HR expertise is needed.
You will also improve onboarding consistency across all active office locations, organizing existing SOPs and training materials into a clearer structure. By implementing a more structured performance management system and building scalable HR infrastructure, you will help the firm navigate its next stage of growth.
