About the Role

As a staff member at Home of Hope, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals through their daily lives. This position goes beyond basic care; it is about training, guiding, and assisting clients in developing essential life skills. From personal hygiene and meal preparation to vocational training and community participation, you will help clients navigate their unique journeys toward self-sufficiency.

You will work cooperatively with a team of service providers, professionals, guardians, and families to create a supportive environment. Your day will involve encouraging independence, promoting self-esteem, and ensuring the safety and welfare of those you serve. Whether you are assisting with mobility, managing medications, or facilitating social activities, your role is to be a positive role model who treats every individual with respect and dignity.

Hiring Process & Application

To join our team, candidates must meet specific qualifications, including a valid Oklahoma driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work flexible schedules. The hiring process includes criminal background checks through the OSBI and requires pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable cause drug screens. Successful candidates must also complete First Aid/CPR training and pass competency testing on required classes.
