The HSE Coordinator serves as a vital link in our safety infrastructure, reporting directly to the HSE Manager. This role is designed to plan, establish, and maintain robust health, safety, and environmental programs that ensure the highest possible degree of safety for all employees. You will be the on-the-ground expert responsible for ensuring our facilities and fleet operations comply with a complex web of federal, state, and local regulations.
In this position, you will manage the safe operation of our DOT-regulated fleet, from vehicle procurement to vendor negotiations. Your day-to-day involves conducting on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and work practices, identifying hazardous conditions, and providing counseling to management and staff on compliance efforts. You will also play a key role in developing safety procedures, coordinating training for new and existing employees, and investigating accidents to determine root causes and prevent future incidents.
