PACE is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Development professional to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year, effective July 1, 2026. In this position, you will serve as a vital support to our Site Director and classroom teaching staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational, social, physical, and psychological development services for children in our 11-hour, full-year classroom program.
You will be the backbone of a safe, nurturing environment where infants and toddlers feel secure and trusted. Your day will involve fostering strong, caring relationships with children, assisting families with enrollment and inquiries, and collaborating with parents to support their child's individual progress. Whether you are substituting for a teacher, implementing curriculum plans, or managing daily classroom operations, your role is essential to maintaining the integrity and warmth of the PACE learning community.

Candidates selected for this role must successfully complete a rigorous background check process, including checks of the Sex Offender Registry, Child Abuse and Neglect State Registry, and FBI Criminal History Check. Additionally, applicants must provide verification of T.B. clearance, pass a health screening (LIC 503), and provide proof of required immunizations (Measles, Pertussis, and Influenza). A current Adult & Pediatric CPR/1st Aid Certificate is also required prior to starting employment.
Interested candidates should ensure they meet all qualification requirements, including the necessary education, permits, and two years of experience in a licensed child care center.
