About the Role

PACE is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Development professional to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year, effective July 1, 2026. In this position, you will serve as a vital support to our Site Director and classroom teaching staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational, social, physical, and psychological development services for children in our 11-hour, full-year classroom program.

You will be the backbone of a safe, nurturing environment where infants and toddlers feel secure and trusted. Your day will involve fostering strong, caring relationships with children, assisting families with enrollment and inquiries, and collaborating with parents to support their child's individual progress. Whether you are substituting for a teacher, implementing curriculum plans, or managing daily classroom operations, your role is essential to maintaining the integrity and warmth of the PACE learning community.

Our Commitment to You

PACE offers a comprehensive Total Rewards Package designed to support your well-being and growth. Beyond a competitive hourly rate, we provide robust benefits including 401k matching, vacation and sick pay, 14 paid holidays, and affordable medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family. We also offer pet insurance, flexible spending accounts, and an Employee Assistance Program. Our culture encourages internal promotion and professional development, ensuring you have the opportunity to grow your career within the organization.

Hiring Process & Application

Candidates selected for this role must successfully complete a rigorous background check process, including checks of the Sex Offender Registry, Child Abuse and Neglect State Registry, and FBI Criminal History Check. Additionally, applicants must provide verification of T.B. clearance, pass a health screening (LIC 503), and provide proof of required immunizations (Measles, Pertussis, and Influenza). A current Adult & Pediatric CPR/1st Aid Certificate is also required prior to starting employment.

Interested candidates should ensure they meet all qualification requirements, including the necessary education, permits, and two years of experience in a licensed child care center. We look for team players with outstanding interpersonal skills who are committed to the development of young children and their families.

Equal Opportunity Employer

PACE is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status. We strive to create an environment where every child and family feels welcomed and supported.
