The People Operations Generalist serves as a critical partner to the HR team and management, ensuring seamless day-to-day people operations across multiple locations. This role is designed to support employees throughout their entire lifecycle, from preboarding and onboarding to daily interactions and eventual offboarding. By managing the employee experience with a focus on exceptional customer service, the position bridges the gap between HR policy and the human element of the organization.
You will act as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding policies and benefits, fostering strong working relationships that enhance the visibility and approachability of the HR department. The role requires hands-on involvement in maintaining data integrity within our HRIS (UKG Ready), processing weekly payroll, and administering complex benefit programs. Beyond administrative execution, you will collaborate with departmental managers to refine hiring processes, counsel on candidate selection, and identify opportunities to improve people operations workflows.
Candidates selected for this role will engage in a structured interview process designed to assess both technical HR knowledge and cultural fit. The process typically includes an initial screening to discuss experience and availability, followed by a deeper dive into specific scenarios involving employee relations, compliance, and system management. Final candidates will meet with the HR Director to discuss team dynamics and strategic alignment before an offer is extended.
