About the Position

Vaco has been engaged by a locally owned corporation in the Hoover/Bessemer, AL area to hire a Human Resources Manager. This role is designed to handle all HR-related functions and work directly with executive management to develop, implement, and execute HR initiatives across all levels of the company. The organization seeks a strategic HR professional with a genuine passion for the field who can ensure the business operates smoothly from an HR perspective.

About the Role

As the Human Resources Manager, you will serve as a key partner to leadership, coordinating resources to accomplish critical activities. Your day-to-day will involve managing employee relations, overseeing compliance with safety and health requirements, and representing the organization in personnel hearings and investigations. You will also be responsible for coordinating new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals, managing benefits and insurance coverage, and conducting training on company policies as they arise. Additionally, you will counsel employees and managers on various employee relation issues and maintain technical knowledge of the latest HR developments.
