About the Role
Vaco is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support multi-state operations and strengthen people practices across a growing organization. This role plays a key part in improving retention, ensuring compliance, and enabling leaders to effectively manage and support their teams. You will partner closely with Operations, Training, and leadership to support strong, consistent store operations across California, Nevada, and Arizona.
In this position, you will lead day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and compliance. Your day will involve managing investigations, performance issues, corrective actions, and documentation while ensuring adherence to federal and state labor laws to reduce risk. You will also assist with talent acquisition efforts, benefits administration, and pay practice alignment, while equipping managers with the tools and guidance needed for performance management and coaching.
