About the Role
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team as the connective tissue between our HQ and our restaurants. In this role, you will work directly with General Managers to handle the full spectrum of HR operations and keep our office running smoothly. You will serve as the primary point of contact for HR questions and people-related issues at the store level, building strong relationships with team members through regular site visits.
Your day will involve managing the entire onboarding process for new hires across locations, maintaining accurate employee records, and administering the company benefits program. You will also support hiring across multiple restaurant locations, partnering with GMs to understand staffing needs and fill roles on a timely basis. Beyond HR, you will respond to inbound customer emails, route incoming mail, and provide general logistical support to the HQ team.
Work Environment & Travel
This role operates Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A key component of the position involves field work, with up to 2 days per week dedicated to visiting restaurant locations (up to 3 stores per day). You must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for these visits. Additionally, occasional travel to Chicago may be required for team meetings, hiring events, and onboarding support.

Requirements
