Vaco/Highspring has been engaged by a nationally recognized industry leader to identify a Regional HR Business Partner for a large, multi-location field operation. This role is critical to aligning with the company's national HR and Talent strategy, serving as a bridge between corporate leadership and on-site operations teams across the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands-on Strategic Business Partner who thrives in the field. The position supports a dynamic workforce of up to 1,000 employees, including a significant hourly population, within a 24/7 operational environment. The ideal candidate is energized by building relationships at all levels and understands the nuances of supporting large, complex workforces in a merit-driven culture.
As the Regional HR Business Partner, you will provide daily HR support and employee relations guidance to local managers and field operations teams. You will serve as the first point of contact for HR matters, policy questions, and day-to-day support, ensuring a strong field presence by regularly visiting sites.
The role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking and tactical execution. You will partner with management to define talent needs, implement HR programs, and drive engagement and retention. This includes analyzing data and retention trends to proactively address issues, facilitating leadership development, and managing complex employee relations matters such as investigations and conflict resolution.
You will be expected to operate in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment where you must be comfortable supporting 24/7 operations, including occasional after-hours or off-shift work as business needs arise. The role is 100% onsite based in San Francisco when not traveling, with an average of 30% travel required throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and multiple locations in Northern California. Peak travel occurs during summer months.
Candidates must currently reside in or near San Francisco, California. Due to the urgency of this hiring need, remote or relocation candidates will not be considered.
