The Housing Specialist is a pivotal role designed to secure permanent housing placement for all housing-ready individuals within our shelter system. You will manage an assigned caseload, working directly with community organizations, government agencies, and property owners to secure living arrangements. Your work involves negotiating rents, deposits, and move-in terms on behalf of clients, while increasing housing options for those transitioning to permanent stability. This position requires navigating the entire housing process, from initial applications and meeting prospective landlords to lease signing and moving.
