This position serves as the operational backbone for daily shift activities across Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club, and Laundry departments. The role is designed to ensure that guestrooms, public spaces, and employee areas remain clean, well-maintained, and aligned with brand standards. Beyond maintaining physical spaces, the incumbent plays a critical part in fostering guest and employee satisfaction while managing the departmental operating budget.
You will lead the daily shift operations, directing and collaborating with employees to verify property standards. Your day involves inspecting guestrooms, managing room status communication with the Front Desk, and preparing work assignments based on check-outs and immediate cleaning needs. You will inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies and supervise an effective inspection program for all areas.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to human resources activities, including training new room attendants, scheduling staff to meet business demands, and tracking time and attendance. You will maintain open, collaborative relationships with your team, utilizing an "open door" policy to solicit feedback and address concerns. You are expected to set a positive example for guest relations, handle complaints, and empower employees to deliver exceptional service.
