About the Role
The Assistant Manager at Ambrosia QSR serves as the vital right hand to the General Manager, supporting the overall operations of a single restaurant. This full-time role is designed for individuals with open availability who can schedule shifts to complement the General Manager's schedule, often working opposing days and times. The position is a key component of our internal growth strategy, offering ongoing development training to foster leadership within the company.
Day in the Life
You will operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where safety and guest satisfaction are paramount. Your day involves leading by example to foster a "guest first" mindset, ensuring every visitor receives a warm welcome and an exceptional experience. You will coordinate team meetings, oversee food safety compliance, and manage inventory and labor costs to maximize profitability.
Beyond operational oversight, you will be deeply engaged in team development, recruiting, training, and coaching a diverse group of employees. Whether handling administrative tasks, enforcing safety protocols, or resolving guest concerns with sound judgment, you will maintain open communication with leadership to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Flexibility is essential, as the role requires working nights, weekends, and holidays in a dynamic setting that includes both indoor and outdoor areas.
