About the Role
As a Housekeeper Supervisor at Liberty Hospital, you will operate under the direction of the Housekeeping Manager to oversee the comprehensive cleaning of the entire facility. This includes entryways, hallways, offices, surgical suites, and the turnover of patient rooms. You will be responsible for managing multiple units, supervising employees engaged in cleaning all areas, and ensuring contracted service crews meet quality standards.
Day in the Life
Your day involves a blend of leadership and hands-on work. You will train and precept housekeepers, monitor inventory of paper products and chemicals, and order necessary supplies. While you manage resources and communicate performance issues to the Manager, you will also perform professional, clinical, and technical competencies required by the assigned unit. This includes cleaning light fixtures, ceilings, vents, mattresses, and floors, as well as operating strippers, buffers, and shampooers.
