The General Manager serves as the primary ambassador for the brand and the hotel, responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations, staff management, and the guest experience. This role exists to provide strategic leadership across all departments, balancing profitability with high standards of guest satisfaction. The General Manager works closely with hotel owners and stakeholders to ensure the property meets its financial targets while maintaining a strong service culture.
In this position, you will lead the hotel's management team, coordinating with Heads of Departments to execute business plans and drive operational excellence. The role involves managing the full spectrum of property issues, from capital projects and refurbishments to service recovery and legal compliance. You will act as the final decision-maker for key staffing decisions and be accountable for the preparation and achievement of annual operating budgets, marketing plans, and financial reporting for owners.
