At Renaissance Hotels, we believe in helping our guests experience the DNA of the neighborhoods they are visiting. Our guests come to discover and uncover the unexpected, to dive into a new culture, or simply to make the most of a free evening. They see business travel as an adventure because they see all travel as an adventure. Where others may settle for the usual, our guests see a chance to bring home a great story. And so do we. We're looking for fellow spontaneous explorers to join our team to bring the spirit of the neighborhood to our guests.
In joining Renaissance Hotels, you join a portfolio of brands with Marriott International. Be where you can do your best work, begin your purpose, belong to an amazing global team, and become the best version of you.
This position is dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel's physical environment. You will respond to and attend to guest repair requests, communicating directly with guests to resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision. Your day will involve performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, visually inspecting machinery, and managing inventory to requisition parts as needed.
You will serve as a key technical resource, troubleshooting and performing mid-level repairs on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. This includes everything from replacing pumps and motors to unclogging drains, repairing electrical switches, and maintaining HVAC systems. You will also program guest TVs and assist with surface preparation, painting, and minor drywall or wood trim repairs, ensuring all work areas are thoroughly cleaned afterward.
Beyond technical tasks, you will play a vital role in team development by training and mentoring junior engineers. You will also assume Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including conducting readings and rounds, while ensuring all activities are communicated effectively to other shifts. Safety is paramount; you will strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout systems and company safety policies, while also welcoming guests with genuine appreciation and anticipating their service needs.
To apply, please submit your resume and qualifications through the Marriott International careers portal. Candidates will be reviewed based on their technical proficiency in MEP systems, relevant hotel maintenance experience, and commitment to the Renaissance brand spirit.
