This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN. Supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network, you will partner with CV Surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers to coordinate patient management.
In this role, you will deliver acute care for cardiac patients in a hospital setting. You will collaborate with physicians to expand individualized primary healthcare services, diagnosing and treating acute or chronic health conditions. Your day will involve obtaining patient histories, performing comprehensive assessments, and interpreting diagnostic studies. You will also counsel patients and their families on treatment plans, preventative health, and community resources, while maintaining precise medical records in accordance with specialty standards.
