WVU Medicine - United Hospital Center (UHC) is a member of West Virginia's premier provider of advanced specialty care and the state's only academic medical center. As part of WVU University's affiliated health system, UHC operates a non-profit, 300-bed facility featuring a 20-bed critical care unit. The hospital is part of a larger network spanning twenty+ hospitals, five institutes, and numerous affiliates, providing comprehensive healthcare services across West Virginia, Southeast Ohio, Western Maryland, and Southwest Pennsylvania.

About the Role

We are actively recruiting a dedicated Nocturnist to join a diverse, patient-centered hospitalist group in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a large community hospital setting with access to all medical specialties for consultation and strong administrative support. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with diseases and injuries to the human internal organ system while establishing preventive health practices.

The position is designed for a collegial work environment with a full spectrum of specialists available for consults. Scheduling is flexible, with a minimum requirement of 13 shifts per month. Recruitment incentives are available for those making a multi-year commitment.
