About the Team
MaineHealth Primary Care Family Medicine, a department of Franklin Hospital, is a dynamic team dedicated to serving a close-knit rural population. Our group consists of two physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers working alongside outstanding support staff. As part of MaineHealth—a not-for-profit integrated health system with a vision to make communities the healthiest in America—we provide preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment to over 1.1 million residents across Maine and New Hampshire.
About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive care in Farmington, Maine, including physical exams, women's health, sick visits, well-child visits, and management of chronic conditions. The role is designed for a collaborative environment where you will occasionally make nursing home rounds and manage call requirements of 1:6. Beyond clinical duties, this position emphasizes professional growth through teaching opportunities for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students from the University of New England and Tufts University.
