Baylor Scott & White Health is the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Texas, dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and communities to live well. Our mission is grounded in four core values: serving faithfully with a joyful heart, constantly striving for better, supporting one another, and taking initiative to deliver exceptional experiences.
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced PRN Hospice Nurse in Temple, Texas, to provide high-quality end-of-life care to patients and their families. This role is designed for those who wish to make a meaningful impact through patient-centered care while enjoying significant scheduling flexibility.
As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you will coordinate care with a focus on the patient's unique needs, creating and revising care plans to track progress and evaluate health responses. Your day-to-day involves building therapeutic relationships, managing pain, and respecting the autonomy, dignity, and rights of every patient and family. You will work collaboratively with the care team to resolve ethical or clinical issues and educate families on healthcare decisions, ensuring that care reflects their personal values and goals.
Candidates must hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license and possess at least two years of hospice experience. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire. While an Associate's degree is accepted, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred.
We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued, and supported. Baylor Scott & White Health is committed to fostering a culture of belonging where diversity is celebrated and every individual can thrive.
