About the Role
This is a part-time, 1099 position focused on conducting quality reviews of mechanical rooms in occupied residential homes. The role exists to ensure construction standards are met through on-site inspections and digital reporting.
You will drive to scheduled locations on weekends during designated appointment windows, typically lasting 4 hours. During these visits, you will photograph the mechanical room (approximately 3-5 photos per home) and complete a review that takes 5 to 10 minutes. All review results are entered online using your own tablet while on-site. No tools, ladders, or roof access are required for this position.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals with a background in residential construction, such as Home Inspectors, General Contractors, Superintendents, or Project Managers. Experience in home renovation, remodeling, or warranty walkthroughs with homeowners is highly valued.
Success in this role requires being detail-oriented, reliable, and principled enough to work unsupervised. You must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle (note: drive time is not compensated, though management groups work orders to minimize travel). Additionally, you should be comfortable connecting to Wi-Fi and troubleshooting minor technical issues on mobile devices.
