About the Role
As a Single-Family & Tract Homes Journeyman Installer, you will be the backbone of our fire safety operations, ensuring that every home we build is protected by reliable, code-compliant fire sprinkler systems. This role is critical to our mission of delivering safe, high-quality residential construction by bridging the gap between complex blueprints and on-site reality.
You will work directly with project managers, supervisors, and a diverse team of tradespeople—including plumbers, electricians, and general contractors—to execute fire sprinkler installations in single-family and tract home environments. Your day involves laying out piping, installing sprinkler heads, valves, and pumps, and conducting rigorous inspections to verify adherence to AHJ standards and NFPA 13D & 13R requirements. Beyond installation, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate records of all activities, managing construction punch lists, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.
This position offers the opportunity to mentor new hires and supervise on-site crews, fostering a culture of safety and excellence. You will be expected to exercise sound judgment within established procedures, proactively identify and resolve site issues, and coordinate material needs to keep projects on schedule. Effective collaboration and active participation in weekly coordination meetings are essential to the success of our field operations.

Key Responsibilities
