About the Role
As an Apprentice Sprinkler Fitter, you will work alongside licensed journeymen to install, modify, and service fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings. This is a hands-on, learn-while-you-earn role tied to a registered apprenticeship program. You will assist with the installation of sprinkler piping, heads, hangers, and related components following approved blueprints and NFPA standards. Your day-to-day work involves cutting, threading, grooving, and joining pipe using hand and power tools, as well as helping with system testing, flushing, and inspections. You will also maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations while attending all required apprenticeship classes and completing coursework on schedule.
Working Conditions
Work is performed primarily at active construction sites. You should expect exposure to varying temperatures, heights, confined spaces, and loud equipment. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and provided.
