About the Role
This position is dedicated to supporting senior citizens in maintaining their independence by assisting with routine daily tasks. The role serves as a vital link between the community and the County's Senior Services programs, ensuring that clients can remain in their homes safely and comfortably.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy living environment for clients. Your day will involve traveling to client homes to perform light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and laundering. Beyond physical tasks, you will act as a communicator and observer, documenting client status, coordinating with supervisors and staff, and handling necessary correspondence. This role requires a blend of practical support, administrative diligence, and compassionate interaction with the public and colleagues.
