The Equipment Operator is the backbone of our landfill operations, responsible for operating and maintaining heavy, motorized equipment in a safe and efficient manner. You will play a critical role in processing incoming materials to build waste cells according to designed landfill permitted plans. Your day-to-day involves working closely with traffic control spotters to identify fill areas, operating compactors to process trash in precise lifts, and maintaining the general working area in a leveled and organized manner. Whether you are building access roads, managing dust control with water tankers, or ensuring daily tipping areas are covered, your work directly contributes to the safety and sustainability of our communities.
