Dobbs Equipment is seeking an experienced Preventative Maintenance Service Technician to perform high-quality lubrication and periodic maintenance on heavy equipment. This role exists to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner, ensuring maximum value for the work performed.
As a Service Technician, you will work independently with limited supervision to service equipment using proper fluids and filters, conduct thorough machine inspections, and prepare necessary reports. You will represent the dealership as a professional, building strong customer service relations while tactfully handling customer problems. The position requires a self-motivated individual who can manage their time effectively, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and adhere to all safety policies of Dobbs Equipment and its clients.
This position is primarily based in a service shop setting. The environment involves exposure to frequently changing temperatures, wet or humid conditions, noise, vibration, fumes, odors, and dust. Technicians work in close proximity to moving mechanical parts and are expected to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, including respirators, welding shields, hard hats, and safety glasses.
