About the Role
We are looking for a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic to join our Syracuse, NY team. In this position, you will be responsible for the repairs and preventative maintenance of all company-owned fleet. Your day-to-day will involve performing routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment, vehicles, and machinery. You will also conduct preventative maintenance tasks and inspections, assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues, and ensure equipment is properly parked and secured in compliance with facility permits and DOT requirements. Safety is paramount; you will ensure all work practices, policies, and processes are followed, maintaining a safe environment at all times while keeping the facility clean and organized.
