This position serves as a pivotal bridge between transactional retail and personalized healthcare. You will provide clinical services to patients, such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) interventions, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies. The role is designed to promote the shift of the Walgreens pharmacy function from purely transactional to deeply interpersonal.
Your day will involve engaging patients by greeting them, offering assistance, and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience. You will model patient service best practices, demonstrating curiosity to identify needs and championing empathy and inclusivity. By anticipating patient needs and proactively offering services like drug therapy reviews and diagnostic testing, you will help enhance the overall patient experience and awareness of healthcare services offered.
