About the Role
The Healthcare Billing Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of Redwood Terrace. This position ensures the accurate, timely filing, collection, and management of all private pay billing activities while managing insurance co-pays. You will serve as a key liaison between the facility, residents, and their responsible family members, resolving billing inquiries to maintain positive customer relationships.
In this role, you will work closely with internal departments and external partners to provide professional, responsive service while adhering to established guidelines and regulations. Your work will directly contribute to optimizing cash flow and minimizing discrepancies, ensuring the facility operates smoothly and compliantly.
Location and Schedule
This position is on-site at Redwood Terrace, located in Escondido, California. The role is full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday during the day.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh school graduate or equivalent
- verifiedMinimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- verifiedSkilled Nursing Billing/AR experience
- verifiedStrong working knowledge of Medicaid and compliance regulations
- verifiedComputer literate with knowledge of EHR, word processing, spreadsheet software
- verifiedExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) is a plus
