About the Role
The Healthcare Billing Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of Redwood Terrace. This position ensures the accurate, timely filing, collection, and management of all private pay billing activities and follows up with residents and responsible family members on insurance co-pays that are due. By working closely with residents, family members, internal departments, and external partners, the coordinator provides professional, responsive service while adhering to established guidelines and regulations.
Location & Schedule
This position is on-site at Redwood Terrace, located in Escondido, California. The role operates full-time, Monday through Friday during the day.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh school graduate or equivalent
- verifiedMinimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- verifiedSkilled Nursing Billing/AR experience
- verifiedStrong working knowledge of Medicaid and compliance regulations
- verifiedComputer literate with knowledge of EHR, word processing, spreadsheet software
- verifiedExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) is a plus
