The Healthcare Billing Coordinator serves as a vital financial partner at Redwood Terrace, ensuring the accurate and timely management of private pay accounts and insurance co-pays. This role is essential for maintaining the facility's financial integrity by optimizing cash flow, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring strict compliance with billing policies and regulations.
You will act as the primary point of contact for residents and their families regarding billing inquiries, working to resolve outstanding payments while fostering positive, professional relationships. By bridging the gap between internal departments, external partners, and the community, you will help uphold the mission of creating a supportive environment where older adults can thrive.

Location and Schedule
This is an on-site position located at Redwood Terrace in Escondido, California. The role operates full-time during day shifts, Monday through Friday.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh school graduate or equivalent
- verifiedMinimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- verifiedSkilled Nursing Billing/AR experience
- verifiedStrong working knowledge of Medicaid and compliance regulations
- verifiedComputer literate with knowledge of EHR, word processing, spreadsheet software
- verifiedExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) is a plus
