About the Role
The Healthcare Billing Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of Redwood Terrace. In this on-site position located in Escondido, California, you will provide comprehensive billing and customer service support for private pay accounts while managing insurance co-pays. Your work ensures the accurate, timely filing, collection, and management of all billing activities.
You will serve as a key liaison between the facility, residents, and their responsible family members. Your day involves preparing and submitting invoices, monitoring account balances, and following up on outstanding payments. Beyond the numbers, you will resolve billing inquiries with professionalism and empathy, fostering positive customer relationships while adhering to established guidelines and regulations. By minimizing discrepancies and optimizing cash flow, you help ensure the facility operates smoothly and compliantly.

Requirements

- verifiedComputer literate with knowledge of EHR, word processing, spreadsheet software
- verifiedExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) is a plus
