About the Role
The Healthcare Billing Coordinator is a vital part of the financial integrity at Redwood Terrace in Escondido, California. This on-site role ensures the accurate, timely filing, collection, and management of all private pay billing activities. You will serve as the primary point of contact for residents and their families regarding insurance co-pays and private pay accounts, resolving billing inquiries with professionalism to maintain positive customer relationships.
In this position, you will work closely with internal departments and external partners to minimize discrepancies and optimize cash flow. Your day-to-day involves preparing and submitting invoices, monitoring account balances, and following up on outstanding payments while adhering to established guidelines and Medicaid compliance regulations. You will operate with a high degree of independence, analyzing data to define problems and draw valid conclusions that support the facility's financial health.
