This position serves as a vital support pillar within a nursing area, performing essential administrative and clerical duties to ensure smooth operations. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, greeting them warmly and managing all telephone communications, including emergency alerts, pages, and overhead announcements. Your role involves processing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while assembling and maintaining accurate patient records and charts. Success in this role requires critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to make decisive judgments in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment with minimal supervision.
