About the Role
As a Health Technician at Audubon Elementary School, you will perform the day-to-day activities of providing student health and health-related services under the direction of the building administrator. You will act as a vital support to the school nurse, carrying out delegated tasks such as administering medications, providing minor first aid, and monitoring students for safety.
This position is designed to support the communication, behavioral, and safety needs of students while maintaining strict confidentiality. You will assist with health screenings, maintain health files and logs, and support students with personal care needs. Please note that this is a temporary, hourly position working four hours a day, only on days when students are in school. The role is year-to-year, depending on the individual school's needs as determined by the principal.
