This position serves as a critical bridge between the CDC and the public, providing advanced clinical inquiry responses to consumers, educators, and medical professionals. You will act as a subject matter expert on CDC topics, including HIV/AIDS, immunizations, environmental health, NIOSH, tuberculosis, and statistics. The role is dynamic, requiring you to respond to inquiries stemming from current events such as food outbreaks and natural disasters.
You will perform advanced database searches to support your responses and compose various documents, reports, and correspondence. All incoming inquiries must be meticulously documented, and your work will be performed in strict accordance with quality assurance measures. This role demands the ability to work independently while effectively communicating complex medical information to diverse audiences, including state and local health departments and government offices.
Please note that this position requires the use of your own personal device. You must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US. The home office must include a private and secure work area with adequate power sources.
