This position serves as a technical health and safety expert, providing critical support to all company personnel. The role is designed to ensure compliance with federal and state health and safety regulations while implementing and monitoring the company's comprehensive safety programs. You will work closely with location personnel to maintain a safe working environment, handling employee and business information with strict confidentiality.
In this role, you will supervise EHS Technicians across all shifts and manage key industrial hygiene programs, including air monitoring, hearing conservation, and sound level monitoring. You will evaluate blood lead results, coordinate hygiene counseling, and support incident investigations. Additionally, you will oversee technical programs for skill-based employees, such as fall protection and confined space entry, and manage contractor compliance and janitorial operations.
EnerSys utilizes artificial intelligence to screen, assess, and select applicants for open positions. This includes reviewing and ranking application materials and scoring answers to application questions.
